AIDA National Championships in Mexico

AIDA Mexico are holding their 2nd National Freediving Championship in Xibalba, Mexico, on the 20, 21 and 22 of June. The competitive disciplines will be Static Apnea and Constant Weight, with national and international records on the waiting list.
According to the information received from AIDA Mexico, the mayans believed that cenotes are an entrance to the underwater world, and they called this kingdom XIBALBA. The event will take place in a Cenote, and the name of the event is XIBALBA 2008.

Competitors from all around the world are invited to attend. The advertisement on the Mexican poster says "All you need is One Breath to find yourself". If only one breath was needed to find oneself in Mexico.
