Author Bio: Emma Farrell
Emma is a water sign and has always wanted to be a freediver.
She took the plunge six years ago and since then has trained with Hardcore Russians, gregarious Greeks and calm Canadians, she occasionally competes, coming 3rd in the 2003 UK champs, 2nd in the 2005 Kalymnos International Diving Festival Competition, and 3rd in the 2006 Swiss National Championships.
She chaired the British Freediving Assocation between 2004 and 2006 and has been instructing and head of freediving education for DeeperBlue.net Courses since 2004.
She has also been a body double as a freediver in a face cream commercial - have a look at http://www.emma-freediver.co.uk
When not freediving (or dreaming about it), Emma spends her time directing films. You can find out about some of them at http://www.sixfoothighfilms.com
She is six foot tall, has the same dance music tastes as Papa Smurf, and, originally, her favourite colour is blue.
