Author Bio: Leslie Randall
Leslie Randall feels somewhat of an impostor posting writing on Deeper Blue because, although she loves to snorkel, she has only done one dive, recreational at that. When active she prefers to cross country and alpine ski, and curl. This may have something to do with the fact that she lives in Canada. During the Canadian micro-summer (there are 2 seasons in Canada: Winter, and July) she forces her two teens to join her in some camping and kayaking. But her real love is the printed word, specifically non-fiction works on cosmology, physics, and evolutionary biology. To know the ultimate nature of reality, time, space, the origin of life on earth, before her time is up, that’s what fuels her. Born amidst the steel mills of Hamilton, Ontario she now lives on the shore of Lake Simcoe where she teaches part-time and plays admin. assistant to a labour arbitration practice. She also has a biotechnology thriller screenplay in her closet which has received unanimous disregard from the film industry.
